Sunday morning in the country
After a long morning nap we enjoyed watching the sun rise over the pool. Grandma Lily showed Bea her first acorn. When it started to heat up, we went inside to cool off on the cowhide and patrol the floors again.

Sunshine Sonoma
Dan grilled some shrimp for lunch while we relaxed by the pool. Bea took a self-portrait with my camera before her first dip in the water.

The Girl & the Fig
Today we left for the country life in Sonoma. After getting settled at the house, we went to the Girl & Fig for dinner where Bea enjoyed chewing on her bib, gazing at the other diners, and watching the sunshade above us be pulled away so we could see the clear blue sky as the sun set.

Dinner with Aunt Robin
Aunt Robin was in Oakland for a seminar. She brought Bea the Learning Puppy, whose paws Bea loves to push. We went to Soi Four on College and then to Bittersweet before coming home for some puppy love.

First night out in the Castro
We celebrated Grandma's birthday early with Auntie Shirley tonight. Shirley gave Bea a colorful teething rattle and the softest book she's ever felt, 'Night, Night, Peter Rabbit.' With a new book and rattle, Sophie spent the night off, in Dan's jacket pocket.

June's Baby Shower
Today we went to June's baby shower in Alameda at Eleanor's house. Great Grandma, Aunt Fran, and Grandma were there too. Bea loved scooting and rolling all over the carpet and playing pat-a-cake with Great Grandma.

Carrots

The latest on the puree menu....carrots! So far, Bea likes everything that arrives at her mouth on a tiny spoon.
Stay on Target
Bea fell asleep on the way to Target. When she woke up, she was in a shopping cart being pushed by Grandma.
