It's been a long time since any updates but now that we are unpacked and have an idea (sort of) of what we're up to out here in suburbia and on our day trips into urbia, there will be more updates. Turns out there's a lot of stuff to do just about every minute of the day with two toddlers.
It's hard to tote both kids there at 4:25 pm (we are always a few minutes late it seems), but Bea loves this class so much that it's worth forcing her to nap and waking her and Ian to zip over to ballet (only 5 min from our house).
It took over 10 hours to get there, but it was worth it to hang out with the cousins! I'm not a Florida fan (spoiled by 6 years of tropical living in Hawaii), but Ian and I enjoyed morning jogs and if we could get out of the house before the hibiscus flower petals opened up the humidity and heat were OK for a mile or two.
We made the trek to Florida and the kids finally met their Great Grandmother Gladys Pryor. Everyone enjoyed a Cuban lunch at St. Armand's Key. Bea sort of lost her cool, though, from some sleep deprivation and the discovery of a mirror near where she and Addie were sitting.
